À propos de moi
Mary is a full-time REALTOR®, dedicated to guiding her clients through the home buying and home selling process.
A native of Cary, NC, Mary has always had a love of the outdoors, which drew her to locales where nature is the centerpiece of the community. In college, Mary was a raft, hiking, and 4×4 guide in the Blue Ridge Mountains and in the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks near Moab, UT. During her time at App State, she was chosen to serve on the Renewable Energy Initiative (REI) committee and was the Executive Chair when the first renewable energy project, Biodiesel buses, was rolled out across campus.
After studying Architecture at Virginia Tech, then graduating from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning, Mary made the Blue Ridge her forever home. After graduation, Mary served in various roles at the Downtown Boone Development Association, where she started downtown Boone’s Public Art Program and served as the organization’s Executive Director before going to work in sales at a software company.
During Mary’s tenure at software sales, she became a top performer, specializing in contract negotiations, and becoming an expert in detail oriented work done flawlessly. Often referred to as “grace under fire” and “the veteran,” she was able to keep her head through many tense and difficult negotiations, turning contentious situations into a win-win for everyone.
Mary is dedicated to helping sellers and buyers achieve the best possible outcome for all of their real estate transactions. From her love of nature to her ability to negotiate in difficult situations, Mary applies her experience and expertise to help each of her clients achieve their goals of living in the High Country. Mary has the unique ability to make her clients’ dreams and ideals her goal.
In her spare time, she visits assisted living facilities with her therapy dog and has learned to play the piano through the ASU Community Music School. She still loves to run, hike, and enjoy all the beauty the Blue Ridge has to offer. Mary feels fortunate to live in one of the most beautiful places and supportive communities on earth. The High Country is a wonderful place to vacation, but an even better place to live, and Mary is excited to share the joy of living in the High Country with her future clients.
